It is a new year, when im currently writing this it is the 3rd of January 2024, I feel like this year is going to be a good one and I wanted to share 5 simple habits to start in 2024.
I don’t remember the last time I set myself a goal and achieved it, you just forget about what you have achieved and keep striving for more. I remember when I set myself a goal to reach 1,000 on Youtube, I did it and now what? This year I hit my goal of hitting 1,000 on TikTok, now hopefully I can reach 5,000 by the end of 2024.
I have already slowly started tweaking my morning and daily routine, due to a bit of depression last year. I am 12 moths postpartum and really struggled with the robotic feeling of every day being the same. I have implemented a few new things in to my daily routine and I feel a lot better going into 2024.
1. Start going to bed/waking up earlier
We always use to stay up so late editing vlogs on my laptop till early hours in the morning and then wondered why I felt so groggy. I have also been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in late 2023 after my second daughter was born and I really struggle with that, so getting lots of sleep really helps. Also I love to sleep now when I know my kids are asleep because you never know if there going to wake up and start screaming lol.
2. Create A Daily To Do List
This has to be one of the biggest changes for me, when I was feeling really low I felt bored and didn’t know what to do with myself. I felt like everything was getting onto of me especially house work. Also my Youtube Channel took a huge dive because I wasn’t posting regularly. So I now write a daily to do list and I feel super proactive and productive which stops my low mood setting in.
3. Working Out
Oh my gosh! I am so excited to be writing about this, I haven’t worked out in 4 years!! I had really bad pelvic girdle pain during both pregnancies and unfortunately after my second daughter it lingered and it is still there. After long walks I am in debilitating pain and I can’t cope. I am waiting for some injections to take away some Odema, birth trauma (long story).
So I was really getting fed up of being a couch potato and decided that I am doing 15 minutes a day of a workout/zumba, I found this amazing woman on Youtube and I have been doing this ever since 27th December 2023. So I am bringing it into 2024 permanently. It also helps my mood too!
4. Write Down My Goals
Absolutely and definitely will be doing this this year, I want to write down all my goals for Youtube, TikTok, Instagram and my blog. It might take some time but I do believe in manifesting and I want to start documenting weekly goals, monthly goals and yearly.
Personally writing down my goals will help me achieve them, I hope.
5. Meditation
Meditation is something new in my life, I know nothing about it but I have heard it is super good for your mental health. I will be trying this in 2024.
